Unique Book Promises to Guide Mental Health Practitioners to Properly Use Genetic Testing

Dr. David Durham and Dr. Ranjit Thirumaran were deluged with requests by psychiatrists and other mental health practitioners to help explain how pharmacogenetics works.  Finally, they decided to write a book that does just that. The Fortis Caliga Academic Press and the American College of Neurocognitive Medicine are pleased to announce the release of their book Psychiatric Pharmacogenetics from concepts to cases.

“Given that nearly one in five commonly prescribed drugs now has a pharmacogenetic warning on its package insert, practitioners increasingly have a duty to learn, understand and apply pharmacogenetic technology in their clinical practice.”
